Faithfull

Faithfull

Faithfull began in 2014, founded by Sarah-Jane Abrahams and Helle Them-Enger after they met in Bali. The label still works between Bali and Sydney, turning travel references, stripes and sun-washed colour into clothes that can handle more than one destination. Its strongest idea is simple summer dressing with enough texture and shape to feel considered rather than precious.

Travel-ready dresses

Faithfull started with two founders, Sarah-Jane Abrahams and Helle Them-Enger, who met in Bali and built a label around travel and vintage references. These dresses keep that premise practical, with cotton, linen, crochet and easy shapes that work in heat. Look for the pieces with enough structure at the neckline or waist to move from a beach town to dinner without a full costume change.

Striped and textural layers

The Bali and Sydney split is visible in the clothes, which balance relaxed Australian proportions with a little Scandinavian restraint. Stripes, crochet and soft tailoring give these tops and light layers more personality than a plain resort uniform. Wear the texture with something quiet underneath, and let one pattern do the talking rather than stacking several vacation signals at once.

Linen separates for summer

Faithfull has described its goal as creating wearable pieces that move between everyday life and vacation, and the separates make that most obvious. Linen shorts, wide-leg trousers, skirts and small beach extras are useful because they can be recombined across a suitcase. Start with one bottom in a natural shade, then add a printed or striped top for the second look instead of buying a matching set.

Our honest take

Our honest take: Faithfull is at its best when the fabric and silhouette do the work, not when every detail is shouting holiday. The dresses are the clearest entry point, while the tiny beach accessories are supporting players rather than reasons to buy. If you take one thing away, choose one substantial piece in cotton, linen or crochet and build the rest of the trip around it.
