Fara Homidi: How The Cream Formulas Actually Wear

Fara Homidi's cream formulas should be judged the way any cream product should be, by how they blend and how long they hold, not by how the compact looks under counter light. This edit starts with the lip and bronzer pieces, then the face, lip and eye compacts, plus the brushes that make them easier to use.

Judge the cream by how it wears

With cream makeup, I care less about a perfect swatch and more about whether I can put it on quickly, blend it without fuss, and remember to use it again the next day. Fara Homidi is a makeup artist's line, and you can tell from how much of it is built around cream. The Essential Blonzer and Essential Bronzer melt in with your fingers, so they are the easiest place to start. The Smudge & Contour pencil and the Soft Glass lip oil are the simple lip routine, pencil first and oil on top.

The compacts ask a little more of you. The Face, Lip and Eye compacts each hold a few cream shades in one case, and they look best with the right tools. That is where the brushes come in. The Buffer and Blur brushes press cream base into skin without streaks, the Petit Spot brush puts concealer exactly where you want it, and the Homidi Lip Brush picks up color from the Lip Compact. Pool Slick Lash Lacquer is the last step for the eyes. Test anything in the light where you actually get ready, and give it a few wears before you add the next compact.
