Heaven Mayhem

Heaven Mayhem

Pia Mance started Heaven Mayhem in Los Angeles in 2022 with a small amount of starting capital, hand-tying cord necklaces from vintage pendants she sourced herself and packing every order alone. A chance run-in with Hailey Bieber at an LA coffee shop in 2023 turned the brand's earrings into a recurring celebrity fixture and pushed it into wider retail.

Jewelry

Jewelry is the entire foundation of Heaven Mayhem, starting with the vintage-pendant necklaces Mance hand-tied on her bedroom floor before the brand had a proper studio. The earrings that followed in April 2023, including the Mini Knot style, became the pieces that actually built the brand's reputation. Everything here still traces back to that original vintage-charm instinct.

More Jewelry

A second wall of jewelry makes sense for a label that expanded almost entirely by category rather than by season, moving from necklaces into earrings and then further accessories as demand grew. Mance has been open about scouting vintage charms across LA and eBay herself in the brand's early days. That scavenging instinct is still legible in how eclectic the pendant and charm shapes stay.

Accessories

Belts, watches and other accessories are newer additions, arriving as Heaven Mayhem grew from a single-product side hustle into a brand carried by Revolve, Shopbop, Bloomingdale's and Selfridges. The expansion follows the same instinct that drove the earrings: take a vintage or retro reference and make it easy to wear daily. It is a logical next step for a founder who has never really left the accessories lane.

Our honest take

Heaven Mayhem is one of the more transparent recent build-a-brand stories, and the details, the shoestring start, the self-packed orders, the coffee-shop encounter with Hailey Bieber, hold up under scrutiny rather than reading like marketing gloss. The jewelry itself leans heavily on a specific vintage-pendant look, which works well when that look is in favor and less well outside it. It is a brand still defined by one very good idea it keeps extending.
