Jacquie Aiche

Jacquie Aiche

Jacquie Aiche grew up in Los Angeles making bead necklaces before she ever meant to start a company, and she launched her namesake jewelry line there in 2007 after years of selling pieces anonymously off her own body while running a clothing boutique on Sunset Plaza. The brand's break came from the finger bracelet she designed around 2009, an idea odd enough that it turned into a genuine signature worn by Beyoncé, Rihanna and the Hadid sisters, among others.

Jewelry

Aiche has said intention matters more to her than trend, and that spiritual framing, gemstones and crystals chosen for meaning rather than just sparkle, runs through everything from her earliest anonymous pieces to what is stocked here. It is a distinctly Los Angeles approach to fine jewelry, bohemian in mood but still built from real gold and stones by the same jeweler she has worked with since the beginning.

Our honest take

The finger bracelet and body chain era made Aiche's name, and the label has mostly stuck to that free-spirited, gemstone-forward identity rather than chasing a cleaner, more minimal direction the way a lot of fine jewelry has recently. That consistency is either the whole appeal or the thing to know going in, depending on whether the crystal-and-talisman mood is one you actually want on your body.
