LIBEROWE

LIBEROWE

LIBEROWE turns the language of menswear into something more fluid, pairing disciplined tailoring with the sensuous ease of silk, velvet and chiffon. Founded by Paris-raised, London-trained designer Talia Loubaton, the label began with a jacket inspired by her travels in India and a small rail of bespoke orders. The result is clothing with a strong point of view, where a sharp shoulder or narrow collar does more work than a loud logo ever could.

The jackets that started it

Loubaton began LIBEROWE after a trip to India, where the precision of traditional narrow-collared jackets stayed with her. This edit keeps that origin visible in sculpted shoulders, peplum shapes and tweed that reads more like architecture than officewear.

Silk with a little drama

The label’s evening pieces bring the same tension between structure and movement into silk chiffon, plissé and luminous chenille. They are not shy dresses, but the gathered waists and long lines keep the drama considered rather than theatrical.

Softness, precisely tailored

Loubaton studied knitwear at Central Saint Martins before working at Alexander McQueen, and that material intelligence shows up in the tops. Cotton poplin, silk jacquard and fringed wool are treated as shape-making tools, with cut-outs and peplums doing the styling work.

The polished lower half

The trousers and skirts are the grounding pieces, from pleated wool pants to silk jacquard wide legs and wrap skirts. Start with the waist and rise, then let the fabric decide the mood, because LIBEROWE’s proportions are designed to be noticed from the side as much as from the front.

Our honest take

Our honest take: LIBEROWE is for someone who wants tailoring to feel personal rather than corporate. The jackets are the clearest entry point, while the more ornate dresses ask for a real occasion and a willingness to let the clothes lead. If you take one thing away, begin with one structured piece and keep everything around it simple.
