Lié Studio was founded in Copenhagen in November 2021 by twin sisters Amalie and Cecilie Moosgaard, former runway models who had walked for Gucci, Valentino and Prada before building their own label with business partners at Brand Institute. The specific thing that makes the brand what it is: a small set of core minimalist gold and silver jewelry pieces, designed by two people who by their own account were not natural jewelry buyers before they started making it themselves.

Jewelry
The jewelry grid centers on the ten or so core pieces the Moosgaard twins designed at launch, minimalist necklaces, earrings and bracelets in gold and silver that the brand has kept as bestsellers rather than cycling out. That restraint is the whole premise: the sisters have said they built the label for people who do not otherwise think of themselves as jewelry people. It shows in how spare the shapes stay.

Bags
Bags came later, an expansion the label made once the jewelry side had already found its footing and its stockist list had grown past a hundred. The leather goods carry over the same uncluttered, low key sensibility rather than reaching for a separate visual identity. It reads as one design language applied to a second category, not a new brand grafted on.

More from the collection
The wider range shows how quickly a two person, influencer led label scaled once its social following turned into an actual retail business, something Vogue Business has tracked in detail since the 2021 launch. There is a straightforward logic running through all of it: pieces meant to be worn constantly rather than saved for an occasion. That is a very Scandinavian argument, and this brand makes it consistently.
Our honest take
Our honest take is that Lié Studio's advantage is discipline: two founders picked a handful of shapes early and have mostly resisted the urge to chase every micro trend since. The influencer origin story could easily have produced something noisier than what actually landed on the shelf. It is a tighter, calmer collection than its social media roots might suggest.
