Nada Ghazal

Nada Ghazal

Nada Ghazal spent a decade in Dubai advertising, rising to senior art director at Impact BBDO, before returning to Beirut in 2003 to design jewelry instead. Her first collection, twenty five handmade pieces in eighteen karat gold wire called Organised Chaos, reportedly sold out within days of its December 2003 debut, and she opened her first Beirut boutique and atelier the following year.

Jewelry

The gold wirework that defined Organised Chaos two decades ago is still the throughline here, pieces that read as sketched rather than cast, which was Ghazal's whole point in naming that debut collection after the contrast between her tidy advertising career and Beirut's chaos. She marked the brand's twentieth anniversary in 2024 with a pop-up at Bergdorf Goodman, a fair measure of how far that first sold-out collection has traveled.

Our honest take

Ghazal's advertising background is easy to spot in how deliberately each collection tells a story, which is unusual for a jewelry house this focused on craft. Twenty years after a debut collection sold out in days, the label is still working from the same handmade, narrative-driven playbook, and it still mostly works.
