Natalia Criado brings the logic of jewelry to the table, turning silver-plated metal, stone and glass into objects with a little ceremony built in. Born and raised in Colombia, Criado studied industrial design in Milan before founding her tableware and object line in 2018. The collection makes everyday serving feel more considered without pretending that a coffee pot is a museum piece.

Objects for the table
Born in Colombia and trained in industrial design in Milan, Natalia Criado founded her tableware and object line in 2018, drawing on pre-Colombian forms and Italian craft. Her practice began with the idea of bringing jewels to the table, then expanded through collaborations with metalworkers and Murano glass artists. The result is serveware that treats the meal as a setting, not just a function. The serveware in this selection make that idea tangible, with materials and proportions that reward looking closely.

Our honest take
The best pieces are the ones that earn their place between uses, whether that means a bowl on the table or a small holder that makes an ordinary ritual feel deliberate. This is not for anyone seeking anonymous basics, and the sculptural details need a little room around them. If you take one thing away, buy the object that will be used often enough to justify its presence.
