Reflections Copenhagen

Reflections Copenhagen

The home decor brand of my dreams. Reflections Copenhagen makes crystal and glass decor with the attitude of small-scale sculpture. Founded in 2015 by Andrea Larsson and Julie Hugau, the Copenhagen brand set out to push against predictable interiors by using natural light, strong color, and handcrafted forms aka it's playful without becoming flimsy, and functional without pretending to be invisible.

Bowls With Color

The bowls and bonbonnières are the easiest way to bring Reflections Copenhagen's color into a room. Andrea Larsson and Julie Hugau founded the brand in 2015 with a desire to make something nontraditional, using crystal and the reflections of natural light as design material. Put one on a plain table and let the object create its own center of gravity.

Decorative Objects With Shine

Frames, trays, bookends, and small boxes make the more useful side of the collection feel just as expressive. The brand's stated interest in merging art and decor is convincing here because the pieces still have jobs to do, even when their surfaces are doing most of the talking. Give one a clear patch of space rather than crowding it with similar objects.

Vases And Candlelight

Vases, jars, and candle holders turn light into part of the arrangement. Reflections Copenhagen works with handcrafted crystal, bold contrasts, and forms influenced by Art Deco and the graphic energy of the 1980s, so even a small vessel can shift the mood of a room. Use one near a window or lamp and keep the surrounding materials quiet.

Our honest take

This is decor for someone who wants a room to have a little wit. The pieces are not neutral, and the handmade crystal makes them better as focal points than as background filler. If you take one thing away, place one bright object where the eye naturally lands and leave enough space around it to feel intentional.
