SIEDRÉS

SIEDRÉS

Ceylin Türkkan and her husband Emir Bilge founded SIEDRÉS in Istanbul in September 2019. The label runs on bold, Mediterranean-inspired prints drawn from her family's own archive, her mother's 1970s and 80s wardrobe and her grandmother's tablecloths among them, produced through an Istanbul atelier and factories in Bursa.

Dresses

Dresses are where SIEDRÉS puts its loudest prints to work, the kind of kaleidoscopic patterns Ceylin Türkkan has said trace back to her mother's vintage wardrobe. There is nothing quiet about this category, and that is the intended effect.

Trousers and shorts

The label's signature Mult trousers live in this category, built on the same print archive rather than a plain base fabric. It is a useful test of how far you want to take the brand's color-forward approach.

Skirts

Skirts carry the same Mediterranean, summer-coded prints in a slightly more contained shape, useful for anyone who wants the pattern without a full trouser or dress commitment. Türkkan draws these from her family's own archive, her mother's 1970s and 80s wardrobe included, which is why they read as inherited rather than designed to a trend brief.

Knitwear

Knitwear is a quieter register for a label built on print, and it is where SIEDRÉS's Istanbul-based production, some fabric sourced from factories in Bursa, gets a chance to show texture over color.

Tops and shirting

Tops and shirting work as the easiest entry point into a label whose full-length pieces can be a lot of pattern at once. Ceylin Türkkan's earlier work in graphic design and art direction in Istanbul is not hard to spot in how deliberately these prints are placed.

More from the collection

The rest of the edit shows how far SIEDRÉS has expanded since its 2019 launch, from ready-to-wear into accessories, bags and beyond, all still designed out of the same Istanbul studio.

Our honest take

SIEDRÉS earned its early attention, Hailey Bieber and Emily Ratajkowski among the wearers who noticed it fast, because the prints genuinely come from somewhere specific rather than a mood board of nowhere in particular. That specificity is the label's real appeal. It is not a brand for anyone who wants their closet to stay neutral.
