Sig Ward spent over a decade working as an acupuncturist in Southern California before she started making beaded jewelry with the healing stones she used in her practice, a hobby that eventually became a full line called Rocks and Gems. She relaunched under her own name, Sig Ward Jewelry, around 2014, designing primarily in 14k and 18k gold and drawing on her mother's vintage jewelry collection and her childhood on the beaches of Tel Aviv.

Jewelry
Every piece here traces back to a career change rather than a design-school pedigree: Ward was treating patients with acupuncture and crystals before she ever set a stone in gold. That origin still shows in a preference for organic, water-worn shapes over sharp geometry, closer to something found than something drafted.

Our honest take
A wellness-practitioner-turned-jeweler is a familiar arc by now, but Ward's version has held together for a decade under her own name after starting life as the differently branded Rocks and Gems. The gold-forward, stone-led pieces read as personal rather than trend-chasing, which is the more interesting claim a small independent line can make.
