SIRAPOP

SIRAPOP

A pair of Parson's founders Sirapop's whole approach is a kind of controlled tension, soft fabric pushed into structured, sculptural shapes

Dresses

Dresses are where the label's structure-versus-softness idea is easiest to see, silhouettes that hold their shape without going stiff. It is the kind of technical shaping that tends to come out of a design education focused on pattern-making rather than styling alone.

Tops and shirting

The same sculptural instinct scaled down to separates, built to hold a defined shape on the body rather than drape loosely. It keeps the pieces feeling considered even in a simpler category.

Trousers and shorts

Bottoms extend the label's structured vocabulary into tailoring, rounding out a wardrobe that clearly wants to be worn as a full look rather than piece by piece. Less flashy than the dresses, but consistent with the same design hand.

More from the collection

The rest of what SIRAPOP is currently shipping, still working the same push and pull between soft material and firm shape that has defined the label since its Parsons-graduate founders started it in 2017.

Our honest take

This is still a young, independently run label without a long press history, which makes it hard to say where it goes next, but the design point of view, structure built out of unlikely materials, is more specific than a lot of what gets called emerging right now.
