Spinelli Kilcollin

Spinelli Kilcollin

Yves Spinelli and Dwyer Kilcollin founded Spinelli Kilcollin out of their garage in East Los Angeles in 2010, after Yves's father, metalsmith Antoine Spinelli, hand-made the first interlinked ring for his son to wear across several fingers. Barneys New York picked up the line in 2014, and the design later took on a pave-diamond version that reached Vogue's creative director and helped popularize the linked-ring viral

Jewelry

The linked Galaxy ring is where this entire label started, born from Yves Spinelli wanting something to wear across multiple fingers and his father welding the first version by hand in sterling silver. Everything the brand makes still circles back to that one architectural idea of separate bands joined by small connecting rings.

More Jewelry

Beyond the original linked rings, the label has stretched the same modular, connected logic into fuller pieces, still designed by Dwyer Kilcollin, who came to the brand from sculpture rather than traditional jewelry training. That art-world background is part of why the pieces read as wearable objects rather than conventional fine jewelry.

Our honest take

Spinelli Kilcollin's origin story is unusually well documented and consistent across the founders' own accounts: a garage, a metalsmith father, and one ring that friends and strangers kept asking to buy. Fifteen years on, the brand has not strayed from that founding shape so much as multiplied it, which makes this edit a fairly safe bet for anyone who already likes the signature look, and a less obvious choice for someone hoping for real stylistic range.
