Taller Marmo

Taller Marmo

Taller Marmo makes occasion dressing feel less like a costume and more like a position. Riccardo Audisio and Yago Goicoechea founded the label in Dubai in 2013 after meeting in Milan, building their point of view around the fluidity of the kaftan and the glamour of the 1960s and 1970s. Fringes, feathers and luminous fabrics are handled with enough ease to keep the drama from becoming stiff.

The Main Event

The founders began with kaftans and a strong belief that relaxed silhouettes could still feel extravagant. The gowns and dresses keep that founding tension alive, pairing fluid shapes with fringe, feathers and metallic surfaces.

Kaftans, By Way Of Dubai

Audisio and Goicoechea have described the kaftan as the brand’s symbol, shaped by their years in Dubai and their interest in both Middle Eastern dress and jet-set glamour. The resort pieces make the case for comfort with a very clear point of view.

A Little Less Ceremony

The brand later returned to Italy to work more closely with Italian craftsmanship, but it never abandoned the slightly theatrical attitude that got it noticed. These separates are for the days when one statement detail is enough.

Our honest take

Taller Marmo understands that glamour works best when the wearer still looks in control. If you take one thing away, choose the silhouette that lets you move, then allow the fringe or feather to do the talking.
