Temily

Temily

Rae Temily spent around fifteen years working behind the scenes for other labels, including co-founding the resortwear brand Kalita, before launching her namesake house in New York in April 2025 exclusively through Moda Operandi. Her debut collection, The Body Electric, was built around a satin maxi dress called Summer Bones, and reportedly sold out three separate times, with its first colorway gone in about three hours.

Dresses

Dresses are where Temily's debut idea started, the satin, black-piped silhouette from Summer Bones that sold out its first run within hours of launching. The label has kept that same instinct for a dress that reads as eveningwear without abandoning ease of movement.

Tops and shirting

Tops extend the same satin-and-precision sensibility into a more everyday register, still guided by fashion director Olivia Buckingham's eye from the London side of the operation. It is a newer part of the assortment for a brand still only a few seasons old.

More from the collection

The rest of the edit fills in around those two anchors, continuing the label's resortwear-leaning point of view before it has had much time to sprawl into other categories. For a house launched in 2025, the range already looks more settled than most debuts.

Our honest take

A three-times-sold-out debut collection is a real signal, not just a launch talking point, and the satin maxi silhouette that started it all still anchors everything else here. It is early days for Temily, so the more interesting test is whether the label can build past one signature dress, but the foundation is stronger than most first collections manage.
