The House of Lyria treats home textiles as small-scale architecture, built from texture, color and the productive tension between order and imperfection. Riccardo Bruni founded Lyria in Prato in 2002 and brought the company into interiors in 2021 with cushions and throws shaped by natural fibers and experimental weaving. The result is domestic design with enough personality to change the room without shouting over it.

The Soft Architecture
Founded in the Tuscan textile city of Prato, The House of Lyria works with wool, linen and cotton while experimenting with structure and loom techniques. The throws make that material intelligence tangible, adding fringe and stripe without losing a sense of calm.

Pattern, With Patience
Bruni has described wabi-sabi, the beauty of imperfection, as a guiding idea. The cushions turn that philosophy into pattern, jacquard and floral surfaces that feel collected rather than overly matched.

Our honest take
The House of Lyria is for people who want their rooms to show some evidence of a life being lived. If you take one thing away, start with texture, then let color arrive as a secondary decision.
