TOVE makes clothes for the part of life that happens between the invitation and the next appointment. Camille Perry and Holly Wright founded the London label in 2019 after working together at Topshop, with a brief to create refined, feminine pieces that could move across work, dinner and travel. The silhouettes are quiet, but the fabrics and draping keep them from becoming anonymous.

The Dress Does The Work

Perry and Wright have said a TOVE dress should work hard, not the woman wearing it. The gowns and dresses make that idea tangible through drape, jersey and fil-coupé, shifting between ceremony and actual use.

Quietly Considered Layers

The founders came to TOVE with combined experience in buying and design, and a clear interest in quality materials and considered construction. These tops, knits and jackets give the wardrobe a little structure without interrupting its calm.

The Rest Of The Wardrobe

TOVE was conceived as a capsule wardrobe that could mix across seasons and occasions. Skirts, pants, shorts and leggings make the point in practical terms, giving the dresses somewhere to go.

Our honest take

TOVE understands that minimalism needs texture or it starts to look like administration. If you take one thing away, choose the piece that can cross the most contexts, then keep the styling spare.
