TRUDON

TRUDON

TRUDON brings four centuries of wax-making history into rooms that do not need another decorative object so much as a better atmosphere. The house traces its story to Claude Trudon’s Paris shop in 1643 and its later role as a Royal Manufacture supplying Versailles. Candles, diffusers and perfume now carry that old sense of ceremony into a more intimate scale.

A Room, Properly Lit

TRUDON’s history begins in 1643, when Claude Trudon sold wax and candles on rue Saint-Honoré before the family became the Royal Manufacture. The candles keep that long relationship with flame visible through sculptural vessels and scents with a sense of place.

The Scent Moves Slowly

The house has always been concerned with how atmosphere travels, not just how a candle looks on a table. Diffusers and refills extend the language into quieter, continuous forms.

Beyond The Wick

TRUDON expanded into perfume in 2017, treating fragrance as another way to tell a story rather than a separate category. The smaller group here makes the transition from room to skin without losing the house’s slightly theatrical mood.

Our honest take

TRUDON is for people who think scent is part of the room’s architecture. If you take one thing away, choose the atmosphere you want to return to, then buy the format that supports it.
