TWP

TWP

Trish Wescoat Pound, raised in Oklahoma and seasoned by earlier stints at Theory and Michael Kors and by building her first label, Haute Hippie, into a business she later sold in 2015, founded TWP in 2021 after selling hand-tailored shirts to friends at trunk shows caught the attention of former boss and Theory co-founder Andrew Rosen, who became her investor. The label reimagines men's shirting for women, down to cuff construction and button placement, and has since expanded into denim, tailoring and accessories, all made within a few blocks of its SoHo base.

Tops and shirting

Shirting is where TWP actually began, sewn out of Wescoat Pound's second act after Haute Hippie was sold in 2015, and it remains the category she talks about most specifically: cuff shape, button placement, the fit of a man's shirt reworked for a woman's body. The Boyfriend Shirt and its cropped sibling, the Next Ex, are the pieces she still calls the brand's hero products.

More Tops and shirting

More of the shirting that got Wescoat Pound her first investor, back when she was selling these pieces to friends at Miami trunk shows before the label had a name customers recognized. The fit logic stays the same across variations: a man's shirt, taken apart and rebuilt around how women actually move.

Trousers and shorts

Trousers extend the same American-sportswear instinct Wescoat Pound picked up over seven years at Theory, working alongside Andrew Rosen long before he became her business partner at TWP. The cut favors ease over anything precious, in keeping with a brand built on utilitarian, workwear-adjacent roots.

Jackets and blazers

Tailoring is the category where TWP most visibly bridges Wescoat Pound's Oklahoma upbringing and her New York career, blending a Midwestern practicality with the metropolitan sensibility she absorbed at Theory and Michael Kors. Blazers here are cut to be worn constantly, not reserved for a single occasion.

Knitwear

Knitwear rounds out a wardrobe that started with a single shirt and grew, through Andrew Rosen's investment, into a full sportswear label made in SoHo from Italian fabrics. These pieces trade the structure of the shirting for something softer, but the same lived-in ease carries through.

Denim

Denim is one of the categories TWP grew into after its 2022 launch, following the same logic as the shirting: take a familiar workwear staple and refit it with the construction details Wescoat Pound has spent decades refining. It is a natural extension of a brand built on American heritage workwear references.

Accessories

Belts and small accessories fill out a label that has grown steadily since its 2021 founding without straying far from its original shirting logic. Even here, the details read as functional first: buckles and closures built the way Wescoat Pound approaches a cuff or a collar.

More from the collection

A last stretch of the wider assortment, developed with Wescoat Pound's daughter Jillian, who serves as the brand's styling director and shapes the collection's creative direction alongside her mother. Four years after its official spring 2022 debut, TWP joined the CFDA's official New York Fashion Week calendar in 2025, and this range reflects that broader ambition.

Our honest take

TWP's origin story, a designer rebuilding after losing her first company, then getting backed by the very boss who trained her decades earlier, is unusually well documented for a label this young. The shirting still carries the collection, and everything built around it, denim, tailoring, knitwear, reads as an extension of that one idea rather than a separate pursuit.
