Fenty Beauty lip gloss started with the Gloss Bomb in 2017 and has grown into plumpers, sticks, oils and creams. Here are the shades I would pick, the other Gloss Bomb formulas, and glosses from other brands that shine just as hard.
Fenty Beauty Lip Gloss: Every Gloss Bomb Shade and Formula

Rihanna launched Fenty Beauty on September 8, 2017, and the Gloss Bomb was part of that first launch. It began as a single universal rose shade meant to flatter every skin tone, and more shades followed, including a shimmering pink that arrived in December 2018. Fenty Beauty lip gloss still means Gloss Bomb to a lot of people, and the product page explains why: explosive shine, a non-sticky feel, an XXL wand that leaves lips looking instantly fuller and smoother, and a peach-vanilla scent. Shea butter is in the mix to condition.
Fenty Glow is the shimmering rose nude and the shade I would start with. Glass Slipper is clear, which makes it the easy one over lipstick. Riri is a shimmering rose mauve nude, and Hot Chocolit is a shimmering rich brown that I would try over a deeper liner. Sweetmouth is a shimmering soft pink, Fussy is a shimmering pink, and Champ Stamp Fantasy is a shimmering holographic gold pearl. Fuchsia Flex is a shimmering holographic deep fuchsia for anyone who wants a party lip.
The usage note from Fenty is to wear it alone or layer it over lipstick. A tip: dab the center of your lips first and press them together, so the shine sits where the light hits.

The other Gloss Bomb formulas
Gloss Bomb has grown well past the original tube, and each formula has a different job. Gloss Bomb Heat is a luminizer and plumper with a hint of tint. Its Plump Job Complex is designed to gently plump, with shea butter and vitamin E for the wet-look shine. Hot Cherry is a sheer red, and the Fussy shade is a sheer pink.
Gloss Bomb Stix is the wandless version. It is a medium pigment gloss stick with vitamin E and shea butter for up to eight hours of moisture. High'Biscus is a pink rose, and Fenty Glow here is a rose tan. Fenty says to tap for a sheer wash of color and swipe for fuller coverage.
Gloss Bomb Oil is a lip oil and gloss in one, with a paddle wand, vitamin E, shea butter, passionfruit oil and hyaluronic filling spheres. Rose Amber is a sparkling cool taupe brown, and Razzberry Jamz is a sparkling bright berry. Gloss Bomb Cream Color Drip gives medium to full coverage with zero shimmer, and its Fenty Glow is a universal rose nude. Gloss Bomb Burst in Pink Blink is a hot pink that gets bolder over time. Fenty says to wait 15 minutes for the effect, and it is a limited edition gloss.
A pairing tip: line the edges with a lip liner, then use the Cream Color Drip in the center for clean, fuller looking color.
What I would skip: the Heat over lips that already feel irritated. Fenty says to stop use if irritation occurs.

High-shine glosses from other brands
Here are the glosses from other brands that shine just as hard, each with its own personality. Anastasia Beverly Hills Luminous Gloss in Peachy is a dazzling golden peach, and its flat paddle applicator helps shape the lip line. Lancôme Juicy Tubes Original in 02 Spring Fling is a creamy millennial pink in a squeeze tube, made for up to four hours of hydration. MAC Lipglass in C-Thru is a peachy beige with shimmer, and MAC suggests concentrating it in the center of your lips for a fuller look.
The cushiony ones follow. PAT McGRATH LABS Lust Gloss in Flesh Fantasy is a lush pink beige in a never-sticky gel. MAKEUP BY MARIO SuperShine in Bare has a glass-like finish with sodium hyaluronate, pomegranate extract and jojoba oil. HUDA BEAUTY Faux Filler in She Glitzy is a sheer clear iridescent gloss with vegan collagen and a big doe foot. ILIA Overglaze in Porcelain is a pale pink pearl that hydrates for up to 24 hours and visibly plumps over time. NARS Afterglow Lip Shine in Triple X is crystal clear with mirror-like shine and up to eight hours of hydration.
A tip: NARS says you can mix shades for custom color, and MAC and Mario both work over lipstick.
What I would skip: a pearly or shimmering gloss over a very matte lipstick when you want a clean, flat look. Use a clear one like Triple X or Bare instead.

Finding your Gloss Bomb
Start with the effect you want, then choose the formula. For classic shine, the Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow or Glass Slipper does it. For a fuller looking lip, try the Heat. For a stick you can toss in a pocket, Stix. For oil comfort with sparkle, Gloss Bomb Oil. If you like a gloss with a different feel, the other brands here are good to try beside it, from a gel to a squeeze tube. I would keep one clear gloss and one shade in rotation, and let the rest be for a night out.
