STOULS

STOULS

STOULS treats leather as a daily fabric rather than a special occasion costume. Founded by Aurélia Stouls in 2004, the Paris label built its identity around machine-washable stretch lamb leather. The result is a wardrobe of sharp, tactile pieces that ask less ceremony of getting dressed.

Leather Below the Waist

Aurélia Stouls began with a leather T-shirt, but the label’s trousers make the same argument with more structure. The machine-washable stretch lamb leather gives these shapes a practical streak beneath their polished surface.

A Softer Kind of Drama

The brand’s Parisian point of view is clearest in its close-to-the-body silhouettes and rich color. These dresses and skirts keep the material tactile while letting the cut do the talking.

The Original Leather T-Shirt Idea

Stouls launched in 2004 with a machine-washable leather T-shirt, a proposition that still explains the collection. Tanks, shirts, cardigans and vests carry that same insistence on ease without reducing leather to basics.

Outer Layers, Warmed Up

Before starting her own label, Stouls worked across French shoemaking and fashion, including Thierry Mugler. The outerwear retains that technical eye, balancing soft suede and shearling with clean, usable proportions.

Our honest take

STOULS is most convincing when it makes leather feel ordinary in the best sense. If you take one thing away, look for the washable stretch-leather pieces first, then let one strong silhouette carry the rest of the outfit.
